This blog post never made it out, and am publishing it only 188 days late 😂
According to my calendar I’m in day 146 of my Sabbatical. Time to count my blessings.
Let’s start with some numbers:
Married one, the love of my life ❤️ Had one son, S 🥂 Raised four chickens and a few days ago we marked our 250th egg 🍳 Brewed four batches of beer 🍻 Harvested one batch of Kale, and am about to harvest the first batches of Carrots, Cabbage, Broccoli Sprouts and Spinach.

So, I’ve wrapped up work in Sydney, and took a single flight Sydney -> Wellington on April 28th!
The next 12 months I’ll enjoy my first sabbatical and I’m excited! My biggest fear is wasting my time and realising the year is over and feel like I did not use the time wisely. How many people are blessed enough to have a year off?
After spending a few months wrapping up work, talking to friends and making a list of things I want to accomplish.
